White also make’s areas look bigger than what they are. Using black and white can create a stunning combination. Blue: This is a color that will calm your spirit. Blue can be a relaxing color, however, it is also a cold color, so it is not recommended for cold climates or rooms without a window to let the sun stream inside. Many people choose this color for bedrooms and bathrooms, places where they want a calm relaxed feeling. Brown: A soothing color that can be used almost anywhere to add to your color scheme. It especially looks well with other warm colors such as red. Brown looks awesome on an accent wall. Yellow: The shade of this color will determine what feelings it invokes. A bright yellow would jump out at you and perk you up. A little more subtle shade of yellow is nice for brightening up any room. This is great for areas that do not receive much natural light.
